Light, clear, slightly dusty red. Spice and some funkiness on the nose. Smooth, bitter cherry, raspberry back end. Somewhat lacking in mid palate. Moderate tannins and a long, pleasant finish. Very pleasant.

I thought this was fabulous. It's Gamay, and therefore on the lighter side of the red spectrum but absolutely delicious with berry, stone, and spice notes. It is very food friendly, the kind of red you can easily pair with everything from roast chicken or turkey to pasta with sausage. Nice surprise in my mystery case from Garagiste.

Light on its feet, but interesting. Strawberry-rhubarb and floral aromas with sour cherries and a slightly green flavor profile. A nice break from big holiday-food wines. Drink up.
