We sipped after celebrating our nephew's university graduation (yes, we are old). Black, dark, solid red on the eye. Aromas of full-mouthed black cherries and hints of coconut. On the palate, dark cherries with fairly significant tannins. Elegant finish of liquorice. Sipping nicely now, but we think will lay down for quite a few years. The only downside is the price, which is not necessarily prohibitive, but far from inexpensive. Arguably, a bad QPR. Sip on special occasions...or as a stunning end to an equally super day!
