Nice smooth fruit forward (but not sweet) wine with red and black fruit. Pretty balanced with integrated acidity and tannin. Smooth finish but a bit clipped. Seems like its peaked for what it can be. Pleasurable but not amazing. Good QPR at $50.

Soft tannins - smells of blackberry and pomegranate - fruit forward on the front of the tongue but not a fruit bomb by any means - black licorice on the back of the tongue.

Fruit forward cab that sort of reminds me of Caymus but with a little more restraint and sophistication. Packed with fruit, spiciness and oak but not overwhelming if you're a Napa cab enthusiast. Drinks like a more expensive wine.

Second Sunday Group: 2012 Napa Cabernets (Rich's & Dana's): Double blind. Purplish crimson color. Notes of violets, dark fruit, plum and mint. Tannins are present but softer than the other wines in the line up. Dark fruit dominates and this has an elegance to it. Plenty of florals; lengthy finish.
