Bright gold/yellow color. The nose hits with canned pineapple, peach, and herbs. Palate transitions to river stones/mineral, great acidity, and a medium-dry finish. The pineapple is a little atypical for a Mosel Riesling, and I'm not sure I like it.

Pale lemon colour, a muted nose with a hint of petrol and minerals plus apple and peach. To taste it's off dry with apple, pineapple, and stone fruits of apricot and peach. Drank this at Box E, a great little restaurant in Bristol.

Classic quaffable Mosel riesling with the great Mosel headfake of ripe peaches on nose but bone-dry riverbed stones on palate; very typical and nice price point; acidity a little low, this cuvee is probably an early drinker

Gorgeous dry or essentially-dry wine with crackling acid and a long, balanced frame, delivering bright, green classic Mosel flavors, herby and crunchy. Super bargain.

Remembering my first encounter with Carl Loewen: Great, even in an mediocre year like 2014. Powerfull, wonderfull fruit but the defining character of this wine is its minerality and fruitdrien acidity.
