I'm normally not the biggest beaujolais fan, but this was great. Phenomenal value at $13, really well balanced, not a fruit bomb and overall very enjoyable. Drank after dinner (and several other bottles) playing cards with fam!

Great value for money here if you like theese type of wines witch I do. Had over 2 days half the bottle sat in the fridge with a vacu cork. Significantly better on day 2 needed alot of air on day 1 to open up.
I will remember to buy this anytime im in a mood for a savoury delicious red wine, perfect midweek wine. Beaujolais seems to be making a move in the wine world.

Day 1: bright, light crimson. Red candy. Transparent reddish purple. Attractive aromas of wild strawberry, early ripe red fruits of raspberry, red currant. On the first tasting, the wine has good structure. Discernable but affable tannin. Sharp acidity. Tart cherry and raspberry with a good dose of spice and savoury notes. Bardyard - lots of fresh ploughed dirt. It finished on subtle spice-soaked cherry.
Day 2: darker shade of violet. Much more integration. Ripe strawberry and raspberry. Wild flowers. The aroma is very pleasing. Round. Pleasantly dry. Had it with spicy Thai herb sautéed fish. Go perfectly together!

Substantial beaujolais with enough weight and lovely incisive sour cherry fruit.
