Nose of Black berry, sliced, bell pepper, and sage, same on the palate, big body, mouth filling fruit, rich fruit, at peak so enjoy over the next 4 years, paired with a Flemings Bone-In Rib Eye Steak which made for a great combination, great way to celebrate Christmas Eve, incredible nose and incredible taste, mocha on the long finish and a lovely aftertaste.

It was all there, even after 22 years. But it was just less than it could be. It has faded from the robust Cab we all know and love. Might have been amazing as late as 2015, but now it's a shadow of the promise that Silver Oak Alexander can be.

nice nose; medium body with excellent fruit density; slight sweetness; surprisingly enjoyable with dinner/bottle quickly polished off
