Very attractive mid-gold; an elegant bouquet, on the pineapple spectrum; palate similarly restrained, medium sweet, balanced; stylish finish. Drink sooner rather than later.

Golden/Butterscotch in color. We pared with freshly smoked peach cobbler. OMG, what a great pairing. Subtle dry-sweet with strong flavors of pineapple, hints of mango and spicy vanilla. Main more years left.

Color/App: light gold core with medium + viscosity. Intense bouquet of pineapple, orange, spiced peach & kiwi and lime right on PnP; struck me as very primary, still. Spiced peaches, white flowers, honey and vanilla palate. Pretty rich and viscous but with acceptable acidity (though it could be a little higher if I was to pick nits). Still comes across as young as I really don't detect any caramel/butterscotch/creme brulee notes yet. With a plump, moderately long finish, this still has a long life ahead. 91-92 with upside potential.

I haven't opened a bottle of this wine in over 10 years. I'm happy to report that not only has it improved, but it's also in fantastic shape. From 375ml, this wine is still youthful both in appearance and flavor. There's been a touch of development, but the wine still has very nice tropical fruit and citrus, without much overt sweetness. This made it a great wine to go with blue cheese as dessert.

(Chateau Doisy Vedrines Sauternes) COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-enormous bouquet; dried apricots for day; leachy fruit; caramel & cantaloupe; orange & banana peel; TASTE-exceptional balance; elegance & polish; the length is incredible; apricots; little peach on the back-end; I adore the banana peel; silkier than last time I had it; this has more balance than many dessert wines; secondary butterscotch & caramel; at $30-$50, this is a remarkable value; this rocks my face off; the perfect style of Sauterne for me w/ it's tremendous balance; WS-93; GV-99
