A similar showing to my last bottle. This really combines Southern Rhône aromatics with an almost Burgundian mouthfeel and freshness. There are some tertiary notes sneaking in with some pepper and a touch of underwood. Beautifully elegant CdP. I like this a lot.

This was one of the more surprising and delightful Châteauneuf-du-Pape bottlings I have had in quite some time. It is 80 percent Grenache and shows all the fireworks with ample garrigue, white pepper and spice. Vibrant, fruit forward, but from a cooler vintage like 2013 it is perfect. Absolutely delicious. Not a hint of sediment and benefited from 30 minutes of aeration. I preferred it when it was closest to cellar temperature.

First bottle of the 2013. Took to a friend's for dinner and didn't pay enough attention to it. Solid and enjoyable but not as attention getting as other vintages have been in the past.

Some Wine Before/During/After a Seder (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Tasted last night, note from memory. Black berries and currant with baking spice. Very big, layered, and well balanced now, with a sneaky long finish. Much better now vs when first tasted in 2017. Good to enjoy through the next decade.

Think this was an off bottle. One-dimensional and a little harsh.
