dark purple, thick rich.. on the nose notes of dark chocolate, cherries weirdly a little citrus palate. Dark chocolate covered cherries in real liqueur.. not the cheap grocery store stuff but the real handmade quality stuff. spice and heat from the alcohol (20%abv) then it became this juicy mouthwatering exploration of chocolate. just freaking beautiful.. if i ever get the chance to get some more.. I'm in!
not rated any higher because i haven't had enough of the stuff to really make a call as to if this is truly at the top of the heap.

Amazing. Typical of all the flavors one would expect of a quality Port from the New World.

Yum!! Wonderful port, not "pruney" or "raisiny " at all.
