  A Private Tasting in London of various varietals: Meh. Leathery smoky nose which was interesting, but a very one dimensional palate of coffee and some black fruit. Weakest wine of the evening 87-88

  Incredibly balanced wine with cherry notes and a long elegant finish. Perfectly paired with chicken with apricot and ginger sauce. Wish this was not my last bottle.

  So much dill and oak upon opening, still young as heck. Was truly shining after nearly 3 hours of decanting. Terrific value.

  alc 13.5%
  Decanted 90 min
  Moderate clear red
  Nose has quite a bit of oak
  Palate has moderate drying tannins and tart underripe cherries. Really too young to provide much pleasure
