I have had this wine in the cellar for about 8 years, and this evening reaped the reward of patience and time. We let it sit open for 15 minutes or so, the color on rhe cork was deeeeeeep purple/plum, its nose was fruit forward with no aroma of alcohol (most red wines sme strongly of alcohol to me), very deep/rich complex flavors of dark fruit followed by tannins. Each drink had a long finish inviting the next sip. All this being said, I may have waited a year too long to drink this so if you have any, consider enjoying it now.

Very tight at opening. Opened nicely after 1 hour decanting into a fairly big and wonderfully smooth glass of dried fruit, earth, and berry. Good choice with NY steak. Drinking very well right now, but has perhaps another year or two of life in it. I'll save my last bottle for 2022.

A little over 5 years since my last btl. Pop and pour, and this is in an excellent place. On the nose: black cherry, blueberry, cedar, sweet vanilla, blackberry liqueur. On the palate: very good acidity, sweet blackberry, vanilla, lighter bodied than expected, but density without weight. Tannin on the finish attenuated, which shows some blackberry and black pepper. Yum.

Luscious! Perfect time for drinking soft and supple, tannins mellowed. Rich, full.

Served slightly cooler, needed vinturi after 1 hour decant
Difficult to say how this will develop; not particularly exciting at this stage
