Still somewhat tannic and tight on the palate, even after two hours decant. There's lots to like in this one but I think it needs a few more year before it's ready

Still a bit tannic and young but is definitely evolving well. Great balance! Will peak in a couple of years, I expect, and will be there for several years.

Tasted over three days. Rustic, tightly wound, unintegrated, and packed with variety and terroir-driven substance. Many years from maturity, at least a decade, and it requires no less than five years to begin showing all it has to offer. Let it rest. 92-93...94?

Somewhat lightweight compared to the 2005 Pegau we had alongside this one, maybe not entirely fair. Decanted and returned to the bottle for 2 hrs. Tannic and tight on the palate, but still a nice glass.

Plenty of herbs. Fruit came out after 3 hours. This will be a good wine, but it needs 3-5 more years to get there.
