  • Slightly more developed and less complex that previous bottles - still wonderful experience. Don’t
Drink half and leave the rest for the next day - it will fall apart quickly

  • Simply a brilliant wine! A real surprise! This had notes of mature 1er Cru Chablis - really! I had the chance to pick up the last six pack of this and it is simply the best Chardonnay I have had in years for the price of 14,50Euro on offer. Yes it will have to be drunk within a year or two max I belive but wow so sexy ripe cool butter style. Bravo!!!

  • shared with pat at selkirk manor. a mid-week treat celebrating recent stock market gains. paired with lobster rolls. lobster claw meat sourced from "Get Main Lobster", was unusually sweet and tender compared with previous purchases from this vendor. wine tasting notes same as when previously in 2016. amazing longevity. the wine showed beautifully both on its own and with food. had to drink water in between so as to be able to enjoy the wine due to the saltiness of the spices on the lobster roll. the wine offers generosity on the nose and the palate. lots of tart apple fruit, acidity antd minerality. no metallic qualities detected this time. firm structure. full bodied. lingering finish. a rather unique expression of the grape. bumping drink latest down to 2019 for anyone out there who still has this wine. will be looking to buy the 2015 vintage.

  • shared with pat at selkirk manor. a mid-week treat celebrating recent stock market gains. paired with sushi. the wine showed beautifully both on its own and with food. had to go lightly on the wasabi and drink water in between so as to be able to enjoy the wine. the wine offers generosity on the nose and the palate. lots of tart apple fruit, acidity and minerality. some metallic qualities but not in an annoying way. firm structure. full bodied. lingering finish. will wait six months before enjoying the next one.
