This is very nice, refreshing fizz. Not a strong mousse (i.e. not too gassy). The nose is initially muted, but develops some green tints as it warms and gets some air. On the palate it's very clean and fresh with just the right amount of bite - it doesn't feel acidic. The finish is slightly drying and suggests a further sip.
All in all I like this rather much, and the QPR at ~US$33 is OK.
EDIT (12 Oct 2020) a third bottle of this is going down really well - powerful, bone dry without being austere or fruitless, and lovely minerality. I've upped my rating a point. But sadly I've also found (from his website) that Maillart doesn't currently produce a zero dosage wine, and my supplier has run out of this one.

Ripe apples, some minerality, bone dry. A nicely done zero dosage Champagne

This shows citrus and green apple, with a pleasant chalky note; good acidity and a fine bubble. This was an average value at about $40.

Crisp apples, pears, great minerality and a nice body to it. Dry as it gets.

Champagne from Weygandt: Pure, tart, chalky, crushed shells, limes and green apples. Lots of power yet stays elegant.
