Community Tasting Notes (8) Avg Score: 91.4 points

  • The wine is clear, medium intense golden core with a greene hue, medium thick watery rim, developing.

Nose is clean, medium intense aromas of amalfi lemon, red/yellow apples, Nutts, almonds, oak, butterish, toasted wood, minerals, deep complexity, developing

Palate is dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (almost m+), medium+ body and flavour intensity, high-dry-extract with aromas of grilled/baked lemon, ripe apples, grant, flint, minerals, Nutts and almonds, oak, toast, hint of caramell/toffee, liquorice root, long finish

Well balanced, long mineralic and liquorice dominated finish with a slight bitterness like lemon peel, medium+ intense cause of the acidity and dry-extract, complexity is deep and the best quality, concentration is solid. Drink now and next 5 years, maybe longer. Outstanding quality 92p

  • Great, complex verdejo, almost Burgundian. White flowers and peach on the nose. Medium body, creamy and grassy. Opulent, better with food. Right QPR at $24.

  • To kjappe:
2013 Ossian.
