2011 vintage drank in 2022: Poured a deep red color wine with some dry dark cherry notes with some light spices and a smooth finale. Aged better than I was expecting.

My last of these. It was bitter and sharp, but just about drinkable when chilled. Not very enjoyable. I won't attempt a score out of 100, as I accept that I should probably have drunk this a few years ago.

Savoury red and blackberry, very slightly meaty, sweet spice, slightly earthy. Juicy, again red over blackberry on the palate, a touch of liquorice, soft tannic burr. Nothing crazy but this disappeared quite quickly.

Cotes du Rhone (Frank's place in Matraville): From Coravin. Red berry, sweet spice, slightly meaty, blackberry, very slight herbaceous note, savoury with time. Juicy, savoury, fresh and spicy, black over red fruit, cats rasp tongue, alcohol lends pepper and length to the finish. Pleasingly balanced.

This was my last bottle, not much to add. Optimal drinking window for this product is probably around 3 - 8 years after vintage.
