An amazing $12 bottle that has been consistently good year after year. Don't let it sit though, it doesn't keep well after being opened. Some cherry, grass and a touch of plum. Good everyday wine.

Amazing budget table wine! Raspberry jam notes on the nose develop into a bouquet of sweet red fruit that disappears as soon as the wine leaves your mouth. The sugar is supported with a medium acidity that lets the wine stand up to just about any food you throw at it.. a perfect introduction to Beaujolais and certainly not my last bottle. For $8, I can see myself stocking a few bottles of this for some easy-drinking table wine. This was best after being decanted for an hour at cellar temp.

Red/purple color. Initially the nose was restrained but showed it cherry and earth profile. The palate was somewhat constricted on day 1 and slightly medicinal. Medium acidity and tannin, medium body. We let it rest for the rest of the day.
Day 2 this was a different wine. Much more aromatic. Nice red cherry and earth w/ dark chocolate. This woke up big time and I enjoyed it much more. For the money (Burgundy etc...), this is a pretty good to excellent value.

Seriously disappointed. Drank this on Thanksgiving day and tried it with dinner. It didnt work well at all. Thin, really not much to think about, unidimensional. I've had much better luck with villages in the past. I think Im headed to pretty much drinking the cru beaujolais exclusively.

Bright red purple in the glass. Shy nose (initially) of red berries. Medium light body with lowish acidity and medium minus tannins that assert themselves with air. Medium finish ends on the dark side, especially after food. Serve slightly below cellar temperature and it’ll give its best. Great introduction to the more “serious” side of Beaujolais.
