Pale lemon. Lemon, wet stones, struck match, flint, hazelnut, smoke. Developing. Med+ acidity, quite taught on the palate - “mineral”, med+ finish. This is good but for me lacks the typical richness and butter/cream I expect from a classic meursault - more Puligny Montrachet or even Chablis in style.

PNP. Lovely nose, lots of white fruits and hint of struck match. Very fresh on the palate, good acidity combines with excellent top notes of fruit and flowers. But lacks depth and quite a short finish. Still a nice wine for the price point

Opens with chalk and minerals, almost Chablis-like. has citrus-notes - and very good freshness. gains weight in the glass. This is still a very young wine, more to come, certainly. Extremely precise and elegant.

starts with a sulfur/flint taste and slightly bitter finish. After 30 minutes, it shows well. Nose of lemon, flint and salt. A lemon forward taste balanced well with soft saline and minerals. Long finish of lemon and minerals.

Janselijn Wines & Verkerk Wines Burgundy v. Tuscany Tasting (Restaurant The Lobby Fizeaustraat, Hotel V, Amsterdam, NL): Trade tasting, brief note. The nose displays a sweet meatiness, lemon zest, pine, firmly structured, not easy to assess, but right now I am not a fan.
