I continue to be very impressed with this wine though think it may be a bit over hyped. It has settled a bit since the bottle drunk last year. The color has deepened a shade and the nose is loaded with clay, chalk and spring flowers. Clean and precise. The palate feels Chablis-like without the depth I love about the best from that region. Again, clean and delicious but I just don’t get the fireworks.

A bit of a shock after the parade of Chardonnay we have been drinking lately. This really wakes up the senses. Straw colored with a piercing, stony nose that beckons the juicy, mouthwatering wine. There is the clarity of a mountain stream yet very nice persistence. Weightless, refreshing with a lovely mineral complexity. Exciting change of pace. (90)

My first dry Belluard. Sharp acidity, reminiscent of a Chablis, bruised apples, citrus, nectarine, gunpowder, stone. Very nice but not worth the price tag imho
