  • The wine was light lemon in colour and offered citrus, lemon, nuts and almond as well as a green, grassy, horse farm-like note on the nose. On the palate, the wine showed bruised apple, hazelnut, bitter almond and bitter leesy notes, with a distinct, salty bitterness, medium to medium-minus acidity and average to good length of the slightly bitter finish. This medium-bodied Manzanilla was broader, less salty and more bitter than expected. Even if this Manzanilla was a little better than the Don Zoilo Fino, I would not buy it again.
