Side by side with 2014 No Girls Grenache. Both from the Rocks District. This was ready to drink soon after pouring with just a bit over-balance on the fruit that receded with time and was fully in balance the next day. Day 2 the Rasa was a complete wine with all aspects in harmony and drinking "delicious." A person could make Grenache a daily drinker with a wine like this. It was the much superior wine in part because the No Girls went from bad (85) to mediocre (89) whereas the Rasa went from good (90+) to quite nice (92).

Spicy with density, but also drinks very easily and has good balance. Aromatics are good upon opening with a little time in the glass (Riedel Syrah stem). More red than blue fruits...rather unique overall.

Very pretty pink color with a bouquet and flavor of tart strawberries. Nice balance with good supporting acidity and considerable nuance. Very pleasant wine. Drunk as part of a memorable and fun tasting at the winery's tasting room on the outskirts of Walla Walla during my family's great tour of the Washington wine country.

Very subtle, pretty, and complex. A nice wine, but I wouldn't have guessed it was Grenache.
