I was pleasantly surprised by this 2014 Marchand Tawse Morey Les Faconnieres, not over-extracted or over oaked as some Tawse can get too tannic sometimes. Tasted blind - A fresh bouquet of ripe berries and dark cherries. Lifted oak spices with juicy fruits, good extraction and glossy new oak toast. Good concentration. Volnay 1er Cru? 2015? (89/100)

In a lineup of 4 other MSDs, this seemed rather ripe compared to the others. This was the youngest. Good wine. Probably better in a few more years.
