  • Been on a desert wine kick lately. Opened this muscat to have a glass in bed while reading today's news. Strong floral and citrus smell. This light/thin wine... there's a candied taste I can't quite put my finger on, maybe candy corn, along with some orange, mineral and peach. An interesting flavor profile, not what I was expecting. For a Muscat, it's more on the dry side with minimal alcohol. Being thin, minimal legs, this wine has a short but somewhat unpleasant lemon zest and almost nutmeggy, finish. Won't be looking to buy additional bottles. One is enough.
