One of the best WS I have had in a while. In an excellent place. Good balance of fruit and non-fruit characteristics, and good enough acidity to keep this fresh. Audozed for 75-90 mins, then drank over 90 mins at Cotogna.

A much bigger wine than I’m used to from the RRV. Jeff really extracted a lot of the darker components from this fruit and comes close to that KB profile that some love but I’m not a fan of. A very layered and enjoyable wine with dark, dense plum, rhubarb and overripe cherry. Also leather and a bit of a smoke note initially veering near Syrah profile. If you have them they take a while to clam down, 1 hour at a minimum but 4 is ideal. These can also go much longer in the cellar if you have a stash

Color shows little sign of age. Bight druit flavors and soft tannins. Medium finish. Ready to drink
