Fully mature and ready to go. Ripe plummy fruit, medium bodied with a pleasant finish. This will never be great, but it’s a complete and typical 2002.

Lucky to have this again. Great wine and better than the 2005 Chateau Leoville Poyferre tasted alongside it.
Very tight. Double decanted. Never opened up.

5th tasting notes.Pronounced nose with black fruits, black currant, leather, spices, toast. Medium+ acidity and tannin is still medium+
Probably a little over due but was for my daughter’s 21st. Been holding a while. Cork was beautiful. Still quite good.
