Opened and served in Riedel Burgundy stems. Deep purple red color and a sweet nose of ripe strawberries and cherries. On the palate, this somewhat flashy wine exhibits robust red and black fruits, ripe fig, and unsweetened cocoa. Medium body. Medium-low acidity. A Las Vegas finish -- sinfully hot and dry. Kind of a naughty wine, which might be tamed with some bottle age or decanting. But it's definitely not the classiest pinot I have ever had. In short, this is a wine you want to bed, not marry.

A great Pinot with lots of flavor. Needs to cellar for 2 years to be really good and settle down a bit.

Bottle had to have been oxidized - shipped back from California to Boston. When cork was pulled, red stains up and down the cork.
Wine tasted sharp and vinegary.

Fruity, needed some air, will improve with a little age
