  • By the glass. Bottle opened the night before. Still a bright black wine in the glass. Violet aromas with notes of anise and other balsamic traces. Dull and slightly atypical on both, nose and palate. In the mouth it is concentrated, a full-bodied wine, low in acidity but broad and with depth. Whatever price you get, gotta give it a chance to turn old.

  • Nice floral Aroma. Violets with a hint of eucalyptus. Medium bodied, with flavors blackberry. Medium tannins. Nice enjoyable wine.

  • Next half bottle of this fairly unknown Margaux, this margaux for me is too high in ABV., this is dominating the normal freshness of this appellation, dark fruit in the foreground, lacking elegance, hope will improve, for me the 2005 and 2010 vintages of this chateau are the better buys, *(*-***?), 86-88?

  • From half bottle, drunk over two evenings: very subdued showing at first, some tannin in the foreground and therefore unbalanced, good fresh red fruit, I would say (sour)cherry, slightly tobacco, not that charming right after opening, with some slow ox, better after 24 hours this bottle is becoming harmonic, a lot of red fruit, ripe tannin, still tight but elegant, good long finish, needs time, at least some 5+ years to open up, *(**(+), 87- 90+ potential
