  Decanted and consumed over a few hours. Good call as it needed the extra coaxing to shine. Initial whiff of alcohol but that dissipated quickly. Dark, lush, medium finish. Nicely done.

  A nice bottle of wine but nothing spectacular. Diamonds on the cork. Needs at least an hour decant but benefitted from two hours. Medium acid.

  Deep ruby color with plum and cherry, some cinnamon and vanilla. Great depth and lingering flavor that favors red meat or strong cheeses
