From memory, beautiful, translucent color on this. First and second day this was very lithe and layered on the palate. Very aromatic. Then on day 3 this gained so much concentration and lost that former lithe and layered sensibility. Was quite tannic also. Seemed a bit one dimensional for my preference. No idea about best way to decant this one, so hopefully successful attempts will be shared here.

Tuesday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Remoissenet, Bernard Moreau, Pousse d'Or, Comte Liger-Belair (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Sensational aromatic start with red cherry, berry, baking spice, summer flowers in a perfumed combination. Palate starts open and lush, firms up toward long, meaty fiish. Probably a slight step up from the Bonnes Mares, 94-96 point potential.
