  • Probably the best of the Weill a Way Exposition wine. Definitely showing some secondary characteristics at age 10. Almost creamy texture with some subtle notes of caramel (closest flavor I could come up with). More savory than fruity at this stage.

  • Dense, needs lots of air. Will age 20+ years from here.
Hints of smoked meats. Really tight yet. Pass these onto your grand kids. Hold.

  • This is delicious. Came together really well after an hour or so open and 1/2 hour in the glass. It needs air for sure. Wonderful fruit but enough mouthfeel to carry it along. There is fat and some savoriness in the back to balance it put, and I get the same silkiness that others have called out. I find that in many Bedrock syrahs. This is CA wine, I don't get crushed rock but instead find silky sunshine and deep red fruit. Excellent, and excited for the One and Two which are up next.

  • Great depth and complexity. Red fruits, raspberry, cherry cola, bacon fat, baking spice, loads of florals from the viognier. Tannins are well integrated. Nice acid zip. My only complaint is that the finish is rather short.

  • Purchased direct from Bedrock last year. This is the most polished of the three Expositions for 2013. Full bodied plus with ultra extracted dark fruit, raspberry, plenty of sweet oak, clove/anise, leather and smoked meat. Visually lighter (more red vs black) than One and Two with a considerably more silky mouthfeel. Still heat pokes out and structure feels faded. I’d drink all these in the next few years. Blind I might guess this as a hot mess of a Pinot. These are good wines for the initial release price just not $300 plus.

Pumped half over night and really showing fatigue night two. Strange and unpleasant secondary notes. Drink now.
