This is drinking great right now. The wine is very complex and shifts flavor as it opens up. I get melon and pineapple on the fruit side, and a lovely nuttiness to balance it out. It was a real shapeshifter and I can't wait to revisit more vintages of this wine.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I loved this wine when I tasted it and bought it at their tasting room several years ago and I love it even more now. When I initially bought the wine, I knew that I wanted to hold on to it for a few years before opening it. There was something about it that spoke to me and said this wine would be even more interesting with some age on it. Boy, I'm glad my hunch was right.

My wife normally hates anything Sauv. Blanc, so I was surprised when she said "I really like this". She thinks it tastes French. IDK, maybe. To me it just comes across as an extremely, hard to pin down blend. Call me crazy, but I think the melange invokes a bit of tropical. Some of the notes others have mentioned blend together for me in a way that evokes hints of pineapple and a light bit of coconut.
I wouldn't pull this out for visitors if I wasn't sure they were a tad adventurous or open minded. That said, I really enjoy this.
I look forward to pairing a future bottle with a thai curry that's not overly spicy but features a bit of coconut in the broth.

Trying this again years later and it’s become a super interesting aged Bordeaux Blanc blend, dry grass, cat pee, butterscotch, corn tortilla, roasted nuts, but nothing overwhelming. Lean, but not super acidic. Long finish with a ton of staying power. Really enjoyed the complexity.
I’ve often heard people say that ages Semillions are some of their favorite wines and I can see why.

Truly enjoy this blend although it contains varietals I usually don't care for. Such is the art of Morgan Twain Peterson.
