  First night in Venice we had the best dinner of the trip at Osteria alla testiere. only about 10 tables, reservations made a month in advance...Recommended by the waiter
  
  Rich gold color. Rounded and ripe in a white burgundy/high end CA style. Citrus and baked apple on the palate, creamy mid and back palate. Long and layered finish. Oak and minerality are nicely integrated...really well made wine. Was a great pairing for the local fish and seafood dinner
