  • XVIII Salón de los Mejores Vinos de España -Peñín; 10/23/2017-10/24/2017 (IFEMA - Madrid): Nothing else than a curiosity to feel again the native grapes from Mallorca. In my modest opinion it lacks balance and needs to soft a little those numerous angles that stand out right now in the whole set.

    Nada más que una curiosidad por sentir de nuevo las uvas autóctonas de Mallorca. En mi modesta opinión le falta equilibrio y suavizar un poco los numerosos ángulos que sobresalen ahora mismo en el conjunto.

  • The wine was medium lemon in colour and offered floral notes, citrus, lemon, quince, nuts, vanilla and some smoke on the nose. On the palate the wine showed citrus, lemon, popcorn and nuts, with fresh, lively, medium-level acidity, a slightly creamy mouthfeel and very good length of the bitter finish. The bitterness on the finish and aftertaste was a little disturbing, and the oak was very dominant and not integrated well. The wine did not have the concentration and balance of the very good 2010. It actually reminded a little of some overdone California Chardonnays in the days of old...
