fruity, manure, and hay on the nose. Earthy funk. So weird for a chard. Tastes incredible and way more “normal” than the nose. Creamy lemony (like lemon tart/confit) with a funk/mildew hint. It’s like burg with a little jura funk without oxidativeness. Medium acidity Big Body. Enjoyed a lot

Pale lemon color Medium plus aromas of apple/ pear and raw nuts and initial slight oxidative character - used oak notes Medium bodied with palate consisting of a core of ripe apple and acid with great dry rock minerality and salinity at the tail end Medium plus acidity and medium alcohol with no phenolics Nice long finish led by the beautiful fruit Great example of Jura Chardonnay Drinking great now but could easily hold for 5-8 years

Blind tasting Medium straw with lemon reflections. Some bubbles on glass Aromatics medium +. Initially some peanut butter, yellow apple and pear followed by rocks. With a repeat pour, matchstick reductive notes that gradually fade over several minutes. Interesting changes Palate has a medium + body, round mouthfeel. Acid medium +. No phenolics. Alcohol medium. Salt, lemons, rocks, yellow apple and matchstick. Finish has a medium + length. Balanced Dry glass notes of matchstick reduction Overall, interesting and ever-changing wine over time I guessed a 2015 Chablis Drinking well now or can hold for years given structure/fruit.

lemon peel, white flower, and maybe even a little lemon verbena. shows the very fresh side of chardonnay, and has a long minerally tart finish. good juice.
