What a nice food wine....paired with a classic bolognese pasta... The wines acidity and nice tannins just balance out the meat sauce.. Still note of pine, licorice more so, cherry, herbs... Just so tasty.......probably could use a couple more years as it’s not quite integrated....then again why wait??

I can agree with previous reviewer that there’s a nuance of pine, rose Licorice, ripe cherry on the nose... Cherry on the tongue all the way to the finish...all mid tongue... Tannins and minerality and fruit really well balanced... Delicious wine... I think it can definitely improve but delightful now.. Glad I bought 6...will post day 2 if it’s different.... Day 2 ..equally as fresh and lively...bit more fruit on nose and tongue.. Suggests that it can age well..

At 20 minutes, nose is unique, almost like bubble gum, cherry, and a hint of pine. An hour in, and the woody, piney notes have subsided, but the bubble gum nose has intensified. The wine is showing firm tannins, but a pleasant sweetness. Tannins will hopefully soften over time, but this wine is quite nice, and certainly has potential to age.

Excellent!
Had the color of a 20 year old wine, but was superb.
Old school with none of that new oak.
Loved drinking it.
Will add more notes later.
