Lovely - comes across as quite light, fresh with some grip and energy. Had to look at label as other reviews said 14.8% and id had had it around that or lower UK label says 15.5% and given US and UK ABV tolerances that and upper seems likely Even so a lovely way amount it and light enough delivery though dusty nose and vibrant fruit follow

Late night drink with J at home. From 375ml bottle. Drank over 1.5 hours. Drank in Sydonios Meridional. Appearance is clear, very deep opaque intensity, dark purple colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of toasty vanilla oak, sweet oak spices, deep blackcurrant, creme de cassis, licorice, black tar asphalt, black pepper. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol (14.8%), very smooth velvety high tannins, very full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of black tar asphalt, black licorice, creme de cassis, blackcurrant, blackberries, sweet spices, purple sage herb. Strangely the finish doesn't come up as long as expected, more like medium+ only. Maybe because it is so smooooth? Very very good quality. Still super fresh and lots of inherent power feels. 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot. Sage Mountain Vineyard.

Nice nose, and plenty of fruit on the palate. Firm tannins, but softened, so should continue to age well. Smooth with a long finish,

From magnum. Opened and decanted 1.5 hrs. Somewhat disappointed in this bottle. Tasted “flat” and not consistent with other bottles of Continuum.
