Nicely aromatic. Tasty fruit well balanced by acidity. Rich for a 12.8% ABV wine. Not overly sweet. I also perceive a slightly creamy or smooth mouthfeel (not sure how to describe it).

Red and black fruits, somewhat dark rather than light/floral/feminine. Some tannins, good acidity. Balanced, enjoyable either by itself or with food. Very good QPR.

Garnet. Dark berry fruit and baking spice aromas. Well rounded and good depth to the fruit, black raspberry for me, some savory stuffing in the middle, and moderate length on a bright finish.
This gained a lot of interest for me since my last bottle in December 2019 (that was consumed from a red solo cup)!

Textbook Anderson Valley PN, although more balanced and restrained than most. Red and black fruits, somewhat dark rather than light/floral. Some tannins, good acidity. Balanced, enjoyable either by itself or with food. Good QPR, as always with Halcon wines.
