4th time I have had this wine and my last bottle. Made from two plots of old vines planted before 1952, one in the grand cru of Oger called 'Chenys' and one in Mesnil called 'Derriere Maison'. Medium yellow color. Lower bead. Creamy texture and fuller body. Sharp acidity with citrus and steely white fruit notes. 92 points.

CWM Holiday Dinner - 2008 Champagnes (Pa Lian Burmese, Wheaton): Aromas of citrus, apple and baked bread with orchard fruit flavors dominating the palate. This too was better once it had been open a while, picking up an intriguing honeycomb quality to go with the abundance of orchard fruit. 92+ pts. (VM)

Dinner at 90 Miles (Chicago, IL): Solid showing of this bottle; shows a hint of maturity but good chalkiness and plenty of 2008 acidity. Chewy minerality. For my palate, in a really good spot for drinking now.

Not familiar with this producer, but picked up some as I really enjoy the '08s. It was overall very enjoyable; green apple, lemon peel, pastry dough, and some orchard blossoms; good depth and still with plenty of energy.
