Pale golden colour, smells of flint stone and slightly of petrol, light to medium body, has a little bit of residual sugar, so is not completely dry, doesn’t have much acidity left, in the mouth a little bit of flint stone and a little bit of petrol, in the aftertaste acidity and apricot, medium length (10 sec), goes from a great nose over a middling taste to a poor finish, so the smell promises more that the wine actually delivers in the end, nevertheless it’s a good wine for the price when you think of how much similar Nierstein village wines from other producers cost.
