  Was quite earthy on first pour. It gained cherry fruit with air and showed some spice. Only mid-weight considering the vintage. It was perhaps just a little advanced, with a little coffee-like oxidation sneaking in.

  (TST) A mature and faintly oxidised nose of soy sauce, spearmint, earth, spices, berries and tea. Fresher and muscular on the palate with good concentration. Tannins are firm and the finish is rather dry.

  Typical PN fruit, medium body, and some depth. Not a thrilling wine, but OK. Hoped for more though.
