  Pale garnet colour. Medium and developing nose with red cherry, ripe strawberry, orange peel, forest floor, tobacco, leather, licorice, wet leaves, anise and rose petals. Medium taste of ripe strawberry, red cherry, forest floor, tobacco, licorice, orange peel, anise and leather. Long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Medium body. A very good Barbaresco that is much less developed than the previous bottle. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with beef or lamb.

  Probably the best Barbaresco I had from this house (I have not yet opened the 2016). Very fruity in all aspects. Typical light ruby color. In the nose roses and cherries. Smooth, full bodied palate. Harmonious and balanced. Ripe silky tannins.

  I’m impressed by the perfect balanced acid and tannins and overall structure which feels feminine and masculine in the same way. Finishes with discrete dusty notes. Good lenght.

  A vey good wine, but tougher and less fruit than last bottle. Perhaps out of the first window and need time for the second?!
