First of 6 from a recent auction lot at about $24@. Opened about 45 minutes before drinking, no decant. Muted nose of ripe pears and sweet apples. Consistent tasting notes with a touch of caramel and honey. Golden colored, medium to full bodied, light legs; light to moderate acidity. The tasting notes and light acidity give this a lush, creamy and slightly sweet mouthfeel. Despite this, the wine doesn't across as flabby, although I think it may be better as a standalone sipper than as a complement to food. Probably best consumed in the next 18-24 months. Really good qpr at this price. 90-91
Update: this wine is at least as good on night 4, sans coravin, as night 1so any concerns that this needs to be consumed asap seem misplaced.

Consistent with previous bottles with a bit of butterscotch on the palate this time. Lack of vibrant acid is hurting my impression of this wine. I would drink up if holding any.

Beautiful chardonnay with just a hint of oak to give some richness but plenty of apple, pear, lemon zest and just enough acidity.

See previous notes. As good as Failla’s higher priced signal vineyard Chardonnays. Lemon curd with a nice flush of acidity. Fabulous wine.
