  Speciality Drinks Ltd / SMS, Port Askaig Islay, 100° Proof, 57.1%.

  Uncolored, Non-chillfiltered, but not Cask Strength as some state.
  Port Askaig is a brand from Speciality Drinks (a sister company of The Whisky Exchange in London, UK).
  Sukhinder Singh, chairman of The Whisky Exchange, started in 2009 his own range of single malt whisky under this name.
  In 2017 the independent bottling arm of the business, previously known as Speciality Drinks, is renamed Elixir Distillers.
  Port Askaig is a small town in the north-west of Islay and there is only one distillery really close to the village of Port Askaig, so it has to be Caol Ila (and they taste like the Caol Ila's).
  TN:
  Not very complex or with a great length, but a very good, clean (you can even drink it CS), well balanced and a typical peat and smoke Islay / Caol Ila whisky.
  Although I like this one very much, I do prefer the new 10 YO 10th Anniversary edition, which is cask strength at 55.8% and only a bit more expensive at ca. € 65.
