  Beautiful golden colour. Tropical fruit, butter, nuts and oak. Big, bold and solid chardonnay. One of the best from SA.

  2004 Springfield Estate Chardonnay Méthode Ancienne (Zuid-Afrika, Breede River Valley, Robertson) Kleur: Licht goudgeel Aroma / bouquet: Rijpe tonen overheersen dit glas, zoet en rijp tropisch fruit, nauwelijks citrus. Duidelijke gisttonen, versgebakken stokbroode. Mooi geïntegreerd hout, aroma's van boter, vanille en heel subtiel caramel, maar prachtig Smaak / Afdronk: Filmend, dik-geconcentreerd, prachtig rijp fruit, beetje lactisch (karnemelk), behoorlijke zuren, subtiel bittertje, klein alcoholgerelateerd zoetje. Prachtige lengte. Algemeen / potentieel: Wat mij betreft één van de beste ZA-Chardi's! 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Smaak / Afdronk: 14 + Algemeen / potentieel: 6 = 86/100

  gele kleur, volle neus met dik geel fruit,peer en limoen, houttoets, wel mooi in evenwicht, smaak is vloeiend en goed in balans, rijke wijn mooi klassiek gemaakt, niets overdadig
