Wow. Superbly well-balanced and coming into its own. Black cherry, raspberry and plums framed by subtle spicy/minty oak with a hint of tobacco; 45-second finish with balance and complexity. Maybe just a touch hot? Hoping I can find another bottle or two in the stacks as this might be the best 2014 I've had this year.
Simple, balanced, overall enjoyable. Nice dark red fruit and a little vanilla on the nose. The fruit follows with a supple mouth feel and well integrated oak + tannins. It finishes a bit hot, I wouldn’t decant and recommend drinking at cellar temp. 30% off thanks to a Black Friday, otherwise there are better QPR options.

Wow, so far, nothing special. Chilled for about 30 minutes and then opened and did a quick PnP taste. The rest is decanting.
Nice aroma and started out great, but it just died. The finish could be measured in single digit seconds! Unless this improves significantly, I can see why Costco is selling this for $30 and even at that $, it’s only a Fair QPR! No need to get more.

Considering price and pedigree I'm not sold. Day one, rather one dimensional and acidic. Day two it opened but not into anything special. Maybe next bottle
