Decanted one hour. Big perfume of strawberry rising from the glass. Slightly tart red fruits on entry, medium finish. Well integrated and drinking well now, though it improved in the glass such that the final glass was the best. Open the next one a little earlier for maximum enjoyment now. Quite possibly my favorite Loring yet.

This is a big styled wine. Light bodied on appearance, darker than your normal pinot, garnet color. On nose, stone, red apple, a little smoky. Taste is very full, balance is pretty decent. Alcohol does cut through and a pretty solid wall of flavor. Pretty creamy, heavy blueberry flavor, fruit is receding. Tannins are fairly still notable, imo this could potentially use a few more years. Overall, this is just too much for me but well made.

PNP. A nice flavorful CA Pinot from the Santa Rita Hills. Crunchy red fruit, strawberry, rhubarb and some baking spice. Crowd pleasing style, but I kept coming back to fill my glass.

Loring wines are very nice and long on the finish. The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and black currant (cassis). It tastes like blackberry and plum. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.
