garnet hue; sweet pastry dough, forest floor, blue fruit notes on the nose; depth of vine-inspired oak, plum and blackberry on the palate. Well-integrated medium tannins.

zero acid. unabashedly rich while managing to taste like wine made from grapes. some decent complexity, too, but on nose more than the palate (faint savory aspects hinting at rhone blend)
not bad when/if you want a new world fruit bomb but don't want oak.

Wet stone and baking spices on the nose. Medium to full body with nice fruit and spice, creme brulee, and enough tannins to give structure... long finish. Almost a different wine after 3hrs, more complex notes of sweet tea leaf and apple stems.

Very enjoyable and extremely well made Washington “Rhône”. Very clearly from Washington with the nice Olive finish and clean taste. Picked up a lot of black fruit also. Went really well with Asian ribs but also good on its own. Great qpr at $35.
