Decanted 4 hours before drinking it for dinner. The nose was somehow a bit shy and muted, but the palate was delicious and full of ripe dark cherries, licorice and chocolate. The finish was very long and elegant.

14% Alcohol. Blend: 80% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep Purple, nice color with depth. Full of Blackberries and blueberries. After 2 hours grpahite added also but it is still young, maybe it needs 3-4 more years to gain more layers. What I didn' t like is the smell of alcohol also. Powerful, full-bodied, round with high acidity. Tannins are already soft, very well integrated. Medium to long finish.

Similar to previous notes. 2-3 hours in the decanter helped, but could’ve used longer to deepen the mid-palate drop even further. Very attractive dark berry fruit, black licorice, and earthy spice flavors, with a good amount of heft on the front end push before leveling-out and skirting the mid a bit. Just a slight touch of fleeting heat on the finish that tailed-off quickly. Very good now with air, but even better to hold for a few years.

Blackberry, black cherry, mocha, charred cedar plank, black licorice, Christmas spice, and mulch/earth. Super flavorful with notable depth and a dark, plush mouthfeel. Finishes with charred oak and bitter chocolate laced black cherry notes that keep the flavors undulating to the very end. A great QPR at <$50. 94+ points.

Showing a nice depth of color, the wine pops with black raspberries, licorice, smoke and spice box aromas. The wine is plush, rich, round and loaded to the gills with layers of black cherries, cocoa and licorice. There is density and lift, with luscious textures. This wine keeps getting better and better.
