Not expressive, not a lot of fruit, not to strong. An elegant wine. I expected more. But there is still a lot of acidity and tannins to save for at least 6 more years, so let’s try then!

Soft tannins. Soft red fruit light acidity. Can stand a few years in the bottle before revisiting. Also getting some dark fruit on the palette. Would’ve been better with food but dEf ok to drink on its on. I gave it a few hours after opening before having a go at it. Nice wine all in all.

Coming along nicely - drank on opening, then decanted and finished 4 hours later. It's actually a bit more fun on opening and more serious later on. Fairly austere in the mouth - the fruit is all black and all business. Cassis and blackberry. Earthy with some stale tobacco. On the finish it's blackberry and some black raspberry flavoring, earth and black licorice. Sitting there drinking it I thought "I should have a medium rare rib steak right about now."
