Tasted at the winery before purchasing a bottle. It was on sale for good reason. The wine is past its prime, but still tasty. Slight oxidation and a little acid. Nice fruit. It is nice to see a winery decrease the price of a wine as it is past its prime. Well worth what we paid...and then some.

Medium golden and impressively aromatic, this 100% Viognier dessert wine is effusive of orchard fruits, pineapple, honeysuckle, melon and mango. Medium in viscosity and sweetness, it delivers flavors mirroring the nose. The alcohol (12.0%) is expectedly silent. The beauty of this wine is its excellent balancing acidity, which keeps it vibrant from attack to lengthy finish. Well-cellared bottles should provide pleasure for another decade or more. Drink now-2030.

Same flavors as with previous bottles, though the acid seems to have faded a bit.

Just delicious! Pear, spring flowers, and honeyed notes throughout. Viscous, serious acid, cleansing finish.

Wow! This is pretty! Pear, quince, stone fruit, tangerine, and melon. Serious acid, lovely textures, lingering finish.
